NMCF is proud to partner with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through their Partners Program, a new fiscally sponsored project. The Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program is a voluntary partnership program that provides technical and financial assistance to non-federal landowners to improve fish and wildlife habitats for Federal Trust species (i.e., threatened, endangered, and candidate species, migratory birds, and other declining species). With more than half of New Mexico in private ownership, the Partners Program provides opportunities for habitat restoration on private land. New Mexico projects primarily focus on the High Plains, Southern Great Plains, Rio Grande Watershed, and the Gila-Mimbres Watershed. However, all areas of New Mexico can be considered for project areas of focus.

We are excited to have a partnership with the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program as a way to support projects that provide habitat protection and conservation measures across the state!
