Amigos Bravos is a statewide water conservation organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the waters of New Mexico.
As a member of the Rio Fernando de Taos Revitalization Project Collaborative, Amigos Bravos has recently received a grant from the Rio Grande Water Fund (RGWF) through the generosity of the Nature Conservancy and the LOR Foundation.
These funds will support the La Jara Wetland Jewel Restoration Project, located in the headwaters of the Rio Fernando de Taos.
Amigos Bravos is hiring three contractors to do on-the-ground restoration work for the following projects:
1. Restoration of a headcut (eroded channel)
2. Installing 2 miles of a top-rail fence around the Riparian Pasture in the Flechado Allotment
3. Conducting a wetland assessment to identify future restoration work.
