Our Mission is To steward community resources, build partnerships, and create opportunities that transform lives throughout New Mexico.
Established in 1983, the New Mexico Community Foundation (NMCF) supports the diverse people, communities, and nonprofits across the state. As the only statewide community foundation, NMCF is recognized nationally for its trust-based, grassroots approach to philanthropy. Our work enhances quality of life throughout New Mexico by:
- Establishing and managing philanthropic funds to provide grants and support community initiatives in partnership with local and national funders.
- Providing donor services for individuals, families, and corporations to give to causes that support New Mexicans, including donor-advised funds and endowments.
- Sponsoring small and emerging community organizations as their fiscal agent while they grow into independent entities.
