The First American Bank scholarship
The First American Bank Scholarship is closed.
The First American Bank scholarship was established in 2012 to help graduating seniors from Chaparral High School (Chaparral, N.M.) realize their educational goals and dreams. The scholarship’s mission is to increase student graduation rates, establish partnerships with higher education institutions, and give students and families the ability to afford a college education.
The scholarship allows eligible Chaparral High School students to attend college or university and have a significant portion of their education paid for through this fund, the New Mexico Lottery scholarship, and other financial aid.
Congratulations to the following 20 Chaparral High School graduates who are the 2025 scholarship recipients: Jocelyn Anguiano, Alejandro Arambula, Alberto Arellano, Caleb Barrera, Julissa Cervera, Mayli De Anda, Xitlali Gonzalez, Kevin Guzman, Marina Insurriaga, Reese Martinez, Cynthia Morales, Genesis Munoz, Karina Nunez, Fernanda Orduño, Emily Quintana, Kara Rios, Cassandra Rivera, Natalie Salas, and Carlos Torres, Jr.
Current Chaparral High School seniors who have been accepted to an accredited college or university in the country are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Applicants must have attended Chaparral High School for at least three years, completed a FASFA for the upcoming year, and have maintained a cumulative grade-point-average of at least 3.0 through their first seven semesters of high school
Extra consideration may be given to students who have taken high school Honors or Advanced Placement classes.
