Grants are made available to organizations across the state through NMCF’s field of interest, special initiatives, donor advised and other funds. This blend of grantmaking allows the foundation to provide flexible and targeted dollars to various community partners. In 2025, NMCF awarded grants to organizations serving residents in 32 out of 33 New Mexico counties.

Since it was founded in 1983, NMCF has awarded millions to organizations statewide. Through our grantmaking, NMCF has played a critical role in philanthropy throughout New Mexico and continues to be a catalyst for community change.
